Hello, and welcome to the home page of the online gaming clan Fates Hand. If you're here, then you probably know something about us, and want to find out even more. Or maybe you've just come across us by chance and have no idea what you're getting yourself into.
Either way, please keep reading below for some information on the clan, its players, its affiliates, its past, and its future.
A Little History.
Fates Hand began in the early summer of 2006. More precisely within a couple weeks of the launch of the game Chromehounds. Logically, this would be because Fates Hand started as a squad of roughly 6-8 dedicated Hound pilots. As it might interest you, Chromehounds also directly influenced the name of this clan. We aren't Fate's Hand, because the gods of Chromehounds don't believe in allowing players to use apostrophes in naming their squads.
While Chromehounds will always hold a place in our hearts, we eventually moved most of our efforts to the game known as Phantasy Star Universe. We have been playing the game and hosting player events since the game's release. Thanks to the determination and activity of our members, Sega has also taken note of our efforts, and has on more than one occasion offered to aid us by supplying real-world prizes in addition to the in-game awards we offer our event winners.
As many gamers are students, or just have busy winter schedules, activity tends to slow down during the darker, wetter months of the year. Now that we're pulling out of the hum-drums though, we need new faces and energy to help support the clan, as well as those who think they are fit to help lead it. Players of all kinds are encouraged to apply on the forums. Of course, our current major game is Phantasy Star Universe, so that's where I'd love to get the most new players. But I also enjoy letting players begin sub-chapters on other online multi-player games. So please feel free to suggest other endeavors as well. And we're not overly hardcore, either. If you just want to hang around for the company, please do!
